Amazon Prime delivers nostalgia with these animated classics

Are you looking for something to watch this summer? Are you tired of browsing through all of the options over on Netflix? Then you may want to give Amazon Prime a chance.

While we all know that Amazon is great for renting those new releases and enjoying recent movies and even TV shows, we sometimes forget that it is also great for watching classic movies and shows. And if you are a dog lover who happens to have a fondness for cartoons, then you will want to check out some of what Amazon Prime has to offer.

Check out these classic cartoons on Amazon Prime

I was thrilled when I realized that two of my favorite cartoons are available to stream courtesy of Prime. And while Scooby-Doo is definitely one of my faves, the fact is that it seems to be streaming everywhere.

That being said, it is important to point out that Scooby-Doo: Return to Zombie Island is available to watch on Prime video. In this classic caper, the Mystery Inc. crew find themselves winning a holiday vacation to paradise. Too bad paradise isn’t all it’s cracked up to be on Zombie Island.

This is one of those fun watches that is a must for Scooby fans. And the fact that it is on Amazon Prime definitely makes it a winner.

According to YDraft, the other animated classic that we can’t miss out on is none other than Richie Rich! Honestly, I sometimes forget how much I enjoyed this show as a kid, and the fact that Richie’s sidekick is a dog named Dollar makes it even better as an adult.

Not only is Dollar one of the highlights of the series, but the fact that he is a “Dollarmatian” because of the dollar signs on his coat makes him my favorite character too.
