Pet Podcast: Can I Pet Your Dog is the podcast we didn’t know we needed
There are a lot of podcasts that we can choose to listen to, but this pet podcast is everything we could have hoped for and more.
While there are plenty of things we can be watching on TV or streaming, what about finding things to just listen to. As a dog lover, I am always on the lookout for things like podcasts that focus on the magic of our pets. And thankfully there is one pet podcast that I can’t resist listening to now that I have found it.
The Can I Pet Your Dog podcast is a chance to listen to two dog moms (Alexis Preston and Renee Colvert) as they talk about everything from dog-related news to the dogs they have seen and of course pet for themselves. With a jingle/theme song that is catchy and relatable, this is the kind of pet podcast we never knew we needed.
In fact, they even do celebrity interviews to talk about dogs and pets in general. And if that isn’t the kind of wholesome content we need now, I don’t know what is.

Speaking of interviews, the hosts have even chatted with Nicole Byer, the host of Netflix’s Nailed It, about her pup, Charlie. And clearly Byer is just as obsessed with her pup as the rest of us are with our own.
Other celebs you might recognize are Lin-Manuel Miranda, who spoke about what it’s like to live in NYC with a dog, and Tony Thaxton, a musician who spoke about adopting a shelter pup.
