Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart has adopted a pup named Milo

There might just be a new member of the Riverdale cast. Or at the very least there is a new addition to Lili Reinhart’s family.

If you are a fan of Riverdale, then you know exactly who Lili Reinhart is. As one of the cast’s stars, Reinhart portrays Betty Cooper, budding detective and Jughead’s girlfriend. But in real life, it seems that she is also a dog mom now.

According to the Montreal Gazette, the actress has adopted a one-year-old miniature Schnauzer mix named Milo. The pup was adopted from the Langley Furever Freed Dog Rescue Society. (And you know we love a good adoption story here at Dog O’Day.)

On Instagram, Lili Reinhart shared a picture of herself with her new pup, introducing him to the world. In the post she says, “This is my new baby. He has quickly become a great love of mine. Meet Milo my rescue sweetheart from @fureverfreed.” She also used a heart emoji and a dog emoji to emphasis her message. Her initial post was shared on Feb. 19, then on Feb. 23 she shared a second picture with Milo. In this post, she can be seen cuddling the pup, while the caption reads, “My real life very own tiny son.”

And it seems that a lot of good came from Reinhart’s adoption notice. Not only did she help save Milo, but by sharing the name of the rescue where she found him, it helped bring awareness to the organization, as they say that they saw an increase in followers right after she shared her news.

Milo is not the first Riverdale pup adoption, as other members of the cast have also brought home furry friends in recent months. In fact, it seems as if many of the Riverdale cast are animal lovers.

We are definitely excited for both Milo and Lili Reinhart as they embark on this new adventure together. And we certainly can’t wait for more pictures and videos to be posted to social media.

Seriously, Milo is super cute and these two look perfect together.
