It’s time to head to Orlando and we aren’t even trying to visit Disney World. Instead, we are looking to visit the cafe inspired by the Shiba Inu!

You know we here at Dog O’Day are obsessed with all things dogs, and that means when we hear about a place called Sweet Shiba, we need to know more. And thanks to Narcity, we have found out that there is, in fact, a cafe in Orlando inspired by the adorable Shiba Inu.

While the cafe is a celebration of Japan and Japanese culture in a lot of ways, we are here for the dogs! And that means that we needed to learn all we could about this dog loving cafe.

Sweet Shiba might just be our new favorite place in Orlando, and that’s definitely saying something all things considered. Wondering why we feel this way? Have no fear, we are going to dive right into what makes this Shiba Inu inspired cafe a must visit destination.

Right off the bat we have to discuss the fact that the theme of the restaurant is the Shiba Inu. It doesn’t get any better than that! Seriously this is a super cute pup and it’s nice to see another adorable breed getting the spotlight. (Don’t get me wrong, we love Corgis, but the Shiba Inu is so cute too!)

Also, you can’t go wrong with a place that serves Classic Milk Teas, Chinese and Japanese street foods, and delicious desserts like Bubble Waffles. Seriously, this is the kind of menu that will have you coming back multiple times just so you can try everything at least once.

There are matcha items, bubble items, and so much more on this menu. And the fact that some of these items even come with some nod to the overall Shiba Inu theme makes it all the more fun.

While the Shiba Inu has certainly fallen prey to meme culture, at Sweet Shiba they not only embrace the meme that makes this adorable breed seem a bit dorky, but they also remind us that there is more to these pups than a meme. And we are all for this kind of exposure for these gorgeous dogs.

And yes, the owners have their own Shiba Inus at home and these pups are known to make impromptu visits to the cafe. As dog lovers, it probably comes as no surprise that they hope to support the ASPCA in the future, while also being environmentally friendly.

We love learning about cafes inspired by dogs. And it is even better when the owners have dogs and love them as much as we do.

What do you think of this Shiba Inu inspired cafe? Would you make a special trip to visit this cafe if you were in Orlando? Would you like to see more cafes like this? Tell us what you think in the comments.
