At the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), there is plenty of technology to gasp over. But we are all about this new dog harness that monitors our pup and how they are feeling.

Every year the world is introduced to a variety of new gadgets and technology that are designed to make our lives easier or at least more entertaining. And one of the things we like to look at is the technology focused around our dogs. At CES 2020, this means checking out a new dog harness that is said to be able to tell us how our dog is feeling.

According to CNET, the dog harness comes from a Japanese company, Langualess, with the purpose of being able to monitor your pup and their feelings. The Inupathy harness measures your dog’s heart rate in order to determine how they are doing at any given time.

Langualess believes that this dog harness will be able to tell you whether your dog is feeling relaxed, stressed, happy, interested, or excited. It seems that the harness will even change color depending on your pup’s mood, making this a really cool mood ring if you ask us.

The goal of the dog harness is to track your dog’s mood over a period of time. This data will be used to track mood trends in the dog and even compare their mood with other dogs also wearing the Inupathy harness.

At CES 2020, Langualess showed off their new harnesses on toy dogs, while also discussing the app that goes along with the device. It seems that the goal of the dog harness is to make communication between a dog and its owner easier than ever.

The Inupathy harness comes in sizes ranging from X-Small to X-Large, fitting dogs that weigh anywhere between three pounds and 154 pounds. There are specific amounts of time where this harness can be used, which means you will need to charge this piece of technology depending on how often you utilize it.

Considering this harness is already on sale in Japan, it makes sense that they would bring it to CES 2020. And we can expect to see it hitting the U.S. market sometime this year, which means that if you really want to know how your pup is feeling, now may be your chance.
