Christmas has arrived and with it comes the last-minute realization that you forgot something. Do you need to know if Petco is open on Christmas day?

With the holidays upon us, there are times when we forget to pick something up or maybe we didn’t think to grab a little present for our dog. If this happened to you, then you might be wondering whether or not Petco will be open on Christmas Day.

According to The Holiday Hours, Petco will not be open on Christmas Day at all. This means that even if you forgot to grab your pup a bag of food or even a new toy or treats, you will have to wait until Dec. 26 to head into your local Petco.

However, it is good to know that Petco will be open their regular hours the day after Christmas, which is great if you did in fact forget to pick something up for your friend. And as an added bonus, you might get lucky and snag a deal or two, as the store will likely be discounting their holiday merchandise.

Of course, if you are not in a rush to get your pup goodies, you can still shop online on the Petco website, where you can sometimes get sale prices without having to leave the comfort of your home. And if previous years are anything to go by, those after Christmas deals could include up to 50 percent off their holiday offerings.

I don’t know about you, but I am already looking forward to those after Christmas sales just so I can snag some extra treats and toys for our pups. After all, they don’t care if the toy looks like Santa, a reindeer, or a Christmas tree, they just want to play with it. And at up to 50 percent off, you can’t go wrong snagging a few extra toys.
