FanSided 250: Where does John Wick rank in the top 250 Fandoms?
FanSided 250 has arrived with the rankings of some of the best Fandoms in everything from entertainment to sports. But we really want to know where John Wick ranks across all the fandoms.
Every year, the FanSided network puts together a ranking of all the fandoms. This includes everything from sports and celebrities, to popular movies and TV shows. And for this year’s FanSided 250, John Wick and its fandom has broken into the top 250. But where did it land?
Well it turns out that John Wick really is as popular as we thought it would be. In fact, not only did it break the top 50 of the FanSided 250, but it actually came in at number 46 across all fandoms. And in terms of movie fandoms, it ranked in the fourth spot, which is definitely impressive for a series about mercenaries and assassins.
However, we have a few thoughts about why John Wick is so popular with the fans. And we bet at least one of the reasons is easy enough to guess.
We have to give a lot of credit for John Wick‘s popularity on the fact that the star of the movie is Keanu Reeves. Not only is he a much-loved actor, but he is able to really bring his leading man to life in a way we believe. There is just something about Reeves that makes us believe he would kill men for having killed his dog. And yes, we can also totally believe that he would then rescue a Pit Bull from the pound as his new sidekick.

Of course, Keanu Reeves is not the only reason why we all love John Wick. There is also the fact that this is clearly a movie for dog lovers. After all, not only are dogs a major part of the storyline, but Wick is not the only character with a dog at his (or her) side.
Seriously, we would upvote this franchise just based on its love of dogs. After all, we are all about the dogs at Dog O’Day and we are definitely here for John Wick’s love for his canine companion.
Honestly, there are a lot of reasons we all love John Wick and we are thrilled to see it as part of the FanSided 250. And the fact that it is pretty high on the list has us extremely excited for the future of the franchise. Maybe it will continue to climb the ranks as new movies and at least one TV show is added to the mix.
