Disney has officially unveiled not only the first poster for their Lady and the Tramp remake, but also the trailer. However, some people have questions.

We finally have our first poster and trailer for Disney’s live-action remake of Lady and the Tramp and while we are certainly excited to see how the film lives up to the animated original, it seems that social media is less than impressed. In fact, Twitter users were quick to point out things they did not love about the poster and its iconic imagery.

According to UPROXX, while we may have high hopes for the live-action Lady and the Tramp, it seems as if there might be a bit of fatigue among fans. Some people questioned the actual dogs used in the film, while others felt like the image was more tragic than romantic.

Whether the concern stems from the fact that there have already been a number of live-action remakes or something else, the social media reactions to the new Lady and the Tramp poster is certainly interesting.

One Twitter user shared a picture of their two pups who they felt more accurately represented the animated dogs versus the ones chosen for the remake.

Another Twitter user questioned whether we actually needed the remake.

Then there is the Twitter user who felt that the new poster for Lady and the Tramp was more tragic than cute.

But perhaps it was this user who really thought about why they are unhappy with the live-action remake that explained things best.

While we completely understand where these Twitter users are coming from when they express their concern and lack of love for the upcoming Lady and the Tramp remake, we are excited to see how Disney does with using real dogs for the movie. From the actual cast to the story of the dogs used in the remake, there is a lot to be excited about when it comes to this Disney film.

As fans of the animated classic, we are holding out hope that the live-action remake will not only do well, but also live up to the magic of the original. Of course, as fans of all things dog related we are excited for this particular movie to premiere.
