Does an evening with puppies and Prosecco sound like the perfect way to relax and enjoy a vacation? Then one Denver hotel has you covered.
Are you heading to Denver as part of a special getaway? Do you live in the area, but are looking for the ultimate staycation? Do you love puppies (who doesn’t?!) and Prosecco? Then you may want to check out the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver.
You may be asking why this particular hotel is the place to be, and the answer is simple – they have a puppies and Prosecco package. While this package is not a cheap way to spend a night, it might just be worth the splurge.
As The Know reports, for $550 on top of your standard room rate, you can get a bundle of puppies up for adoption from Lifeline Puppy Rescue, along with a bottle of Prosecco. The pups are there for you to play with and enjoy a bit of a cuddle for an hour.
While this may seem like a lot, this is actually part of a fundraiser for the rescue. In fact, 50 percent of the cost of the package goes directly to the rescue, based out of Colorado, which specifically helps younger dogs find new homes.
The puppies and Prosecco package allows these pups to get out of the rescue, while helping to socialize them. Not only does this allow the puppies to experience a new setting, as well as new people, but it is also a great way to spend an evening relaxing. After all, who wouldn’t want to spend an hour with a bundle of puppies?
You get the chance to spend time with anywhere from six to ten puppies (depending on how the puppies are feeling), and of course enjoy a drink and appetizer from the hotel’s Italian restaurant. Of course, as all of these pups are looking for new homes, you never know if one of them will capture your heart, leading to a new addition to the family.
However, while we are excited for this amazing opportunity, it is only running for a limited period of time. This special puppies and Prosecco package is only available from August 23 to 26, just in time to celebrate National Dog Day on the 26th.
You’ll want to book this package early if you’re interested, as you will want to make sure to schedule a time to enjoy your puppy party.
We love this idea so much and really hope it becomes a more common idea. Perhaps more hotels will be inspired by Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver, and come up with their own puppy packages to benefit rescues.
What do you think of the puppies and Prosecco package? Would you do this if you could? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
