Chris Young reminds his fans that his dog Porter is on tour with him still during Dallas concert

During Chris Young’s July 20 concert in Dallas, Texas, the country singer made a point of talking about his dog Porter who is on tour with him.

On May 23, Chris Young revealed that his dog Porter would be joining him on the road for at least part of his Raised on Country tour. And while it was certainly not the first time that Porter had joined the country singer on the road, it seemed like it was going to be a bit more long-term this time around. Now we have confirmation that Porter really is still going strong on tour.

During Young’s tour stop in Dallas, Texas, the country singer took the time to not only introduce his band members backing him up, but also to talk about his Insta-famous dog. In talking about his fur baby, fans were treated to a short video of Porter on the tour bus as he chased down a ball. Let’s just say it was the cutest thing ever watching that pup on the big screen as he slid down the aisle of a bus.

During this interlude, Chris Young revealed that one of the band members touring with him happens to be his dog’s second favorite person (after himself of course). Kevin Collier, one part of Young’s band and his friend for the last 13 years, is officially one of Porter’s favorite people and it all has to do with his willingness to throw whatever the pup brings to him on the tour bus.

Honestly, we can’t blame the pup for loving Collier if he is willing to throw the ball around even on a bus. And that’s not all we learned, as Chris Young let his fans know that whenever people find out he has a dog, Porter gets all the attention.

Even fans who did not get to attend the Dallas stop on Young’s Raised on Country tour can tell that Porter is still traveling with his father, since there have been a few posts making it clear that the pup is on the road too. The latest one coming hours before the Dallas performance with Porter’s Instagram account posting a picture of the pup relaxing with a simple caption that said, “Traveling is ruff #doghumor.”

We love knowing that Porter is continuing to stay at Young’s side throughout his tour. Especially as we hate the idea of these two being separated considering how much love there is between the singer and his fur baby.

And really, we are all about seeing more posts about and from Porter, as he is clearly a very good boy. Plus, it certainly feels like a behind-the-scenes look at Chris Young and his tour whenever we see a post from him about his pup.
