Reese Witherspoon introduces the world to her new bulldog puppy on Instagram
On Instagram, Reese Witherspoon often shares pictures on set, of her family, and even clothing from her brand. But now she is introducing a puppy.
When it comes to celebrities sharing their doggy adoption stories, Instagram is the place to be. Whether we are talking puppies or older dogs, fans can often find great stories about our favorite celebrities rescuing animals or bringing home new fur babies. And the latest celebrity to show us some new puppy love is none other than Reese Witherspoon.
While we may follow the actress to get a look at her fashion and a glimpse behind-the-scenes of her movies and TV show, on June 25 Witherspoon changed things up when she posted a picture of a gorgeous bulldog puppy to her Instagram. This puppy had brilliant blue eyes that looked out from the picture and captured our hearts immediately.
And while a picture of a puppy may not mean there is a new addition to the family, in this case that is exactly what it means. According to Reese Witherspoon’s caption, this bulldog is definitely part of the family, as she welcomed him home and shared that his name is Lou. She even added “#lovemybulldog” at the end of the caption, along with a loving emotion.
Not only is this pup cute as can be, but with a name like Lou, you know he is going to be stealing hearts wherever he goes. And based on the comments on the post it is already happening.
Among the people who not only congratulated Witherspoon on her new family member, but also shared advice and admiration for the pup were stars like Chrissy Teigen and Jennifer Garner. Teigen commented with, “Omg bulldog families unite!! Let me know when you need a vet.” While Garner went with, “Get out of town!” followed by two of the heart eye emojis.
Honestly, we are just as enamored with Reese Witherspoon’s new puppy as everyone else is. This pup is too cute for words and we hope the actress shares more pictures of her new fur baby in the future.
