Selena Gomez spotted on Instagram with a new pup

There may be a new pup in Selena Gomez’s life. On Instagram, the singer was spotted on a friend’s feed holding a cute new fur baby.

Over the years, social media has allowed us a chance to learn when one of our favorite celebrities has adopted a dog. From Selena Gomez to Pink, there have been plenty of adoption stories to pop up thanks to Instagram or Twitter. And now it looks like Gomez might have actually adopted a new dog.

According to Fox News, thanks to a picture posted to a friend’s Instagram account, it looks like the singer may have a new pup in her life. This would not be the first time that she has had a dog, as back in 2017 it was reported that the singer had adopted a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Unfortunately, Selena Gomez ended up giving the pup to her family in order to allow the dog a chance to have more room to run around.

However, while she may have decided to let her other pup live with her family, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have room for a new dog. And if the post on Instagram is anything to go by, it looks like the singer might once again be a dog mom.

In the picture posted by Anna Collins, a friend of Gomez’s, we can see the singer and her friend each holding a dog in their arms. While this may not be enough of a confirmation of doggy parenting, the caption certainly seems to indicate dog mom status. After all, Collins wrote, “Your local dog moms,” as the caption to the picture.

Although Selena Gomez has been keeping a low profile, even with a new movie and a press tour, seeing her happily holding on to this adorable pup makes us think that she is still as much an animal lover as ever.

We love seeing our favorite celebrities enjoying time with animals, and this is no different. Whether this is actually her new pup or even a friend’s, this picture is too cute for words and makes us eager to see if the singer will post some pictures of this adorable pup on her own Instagram account.
