On America’s Got Talent, Howie Mandel and Simon Cowell look for people with talent in order to award them big money, but it turns out one judge has his own surprising talent with dogs.

When it comes to the many things Simon Cowell is known for, we often think of his music prowess and his judging duties on shows like American Idol and America’s Got Talent first. But it seems that this is not the only talent he has, according to fellow AGT judge, Howie Mandel.

According to People Magazine, during a recent episode of Reality Check, Mandel revealed that Cowell is not only able to sniff out the talent in the contestants on their show, but also in dogs. The comedian and judge explained that the other man has actually trained his own dogs, and when you go over to his house, “they do flips.”

And it seems that is not all that Simon Cowell’s dogs do that is impressive. Howie Mandel went on to say that, “They only walk on their hind legs all through the house. It’s like a circus!”

Knowing that Cowell is a major supporter of causes related to animal welfare, it makes sense that he would have well-trained dogs. Plus, based on what Mandel said, it is clear that his fellow judge is truly a devoted dog dad.

Of course, just because he has been able to train his dogs to do unique things, that’s not the only reason we would entrust him with our pups. After all, he has also helped the Humane Society with a major donation in 2018 that was utilized to help shut down a dog meat farm in South Korea.

Having seen how Simon Cowell reacts to dogs on the stage of America’s Got Talent, we could totally see him taking the stage himself. And while that may be wishful thinking, it would certainly be something we would tune in for.
