People Magazine and Pedigree are teaming up again for 2019’s World’s Cutest Rescue Dog. And now is the time to make your pup a star.

Have you rescued a pup and think they are the cutest dog in town? Do you want to show off your pup to the world? If the answer is yes to either of these questions, then you may want to enter your canine companion into the World’s Cutest Rescue Dog Contest from People Magazine and Pedigree.

This is not the first time that People has teamed up with Pedigree to find the World’s Cutest Rescue Dog, as last year the winner of the contest was Penny, a golden retriever who is missing an eye, but doesn’t let that stop her from living her best life (tongue out and all). Penny was rescued from Turkey and adopted in the United States thanks to Kyra’s Rescue, making her a truly international winner.

And once again this year, the search is back on for the next World’s Cutest Rescue. If you are interested in celebrating just how cute your rescue is, entering them into the contest is super easy.

From June 10 until June 30, you can upload a picture of your pup to the People contest page and explain what rescuing your adorable companion has done to change your life and theirs. Make sure to include where you rescued your pup from. After all, they deserve some credit for helping complete your family.

It doesn’t matter how old or young your rescue pup is, nor their size or shape. All dogs are welcome to enter the competition. And you never know, your adorable doggo could end up reigning supreme.

The winner of the contest gets a year supply of dog food courtesy of Pedigree, a feature in People Magazine (and on their website), a special photo shoot that honors the joy of your pup, and a donation of $1,000 to your choice of rescue organization. The winner of the World’s Cutest Rescue Dog will be announced in September (which feels like forever, but is not that far away).

Honestly, this is the perfect opportunity to make your rescue pup into a star. And of course, why wouldn’t you want to show off your canine companion to the world?

We love competitions like this, as they allow the world to appreciate the joy of rescue dogs. And of course, we can’t wait to see all of the adorable entries and learn who the winning rescue is.
