Pup Fest, Amazon Treasure Truck coming to New York City
Through Pup Fest, the Amazon Treasure Truck is coming to New York City to spread the pupper joy around.
The Amazon Treasure Truck will be visiting New York City this weekend to spread the joy of puppers with a free event called Pup Fest.
It will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26, at Hudson River Park’s Pier 46.
Pup Fest has been described as an “amusement park for dogs and their owners,” which features obstacle course activities, a tasting kitchen, a barkery (likely a bakery for dogs) and photo opportunities.
The Amazon Treasure Truck has been described as an ice cream truck for grownups, where they can find items that are local, new or trending. They can also save up to 20 percent off various dog treats, pet food and flea and tick collars.
It has been traveling through multiple cities around the country, including Los Angeles and Atlanta.
Pomeranians Bruce Wayne and Bertram the Pom will be in attendance as well.
Bertram was a rescue dog from Oklahoma who now lives in New York City, who works at an art gallery. He has around 3,700 followers on Instagram, where his handle is @bertiebertthepom.
Also, local animal rescue organization Animal Haven will have adoptable dogs available onsite.
They were one of the shelters that several of the participants in February’s Puppy Bowl XV came from. (In the big game, Team Ruff pulled off the 59-51 pupset victory over three-time defending champions Team Fluff.)
