Mother’s Day was Sunday, and the dogs of Twitter celebrated appropriately.

The dogs of Twitter are known for celebrating holidays, and Mother’s Day was no exception.

There were a variety of Twitter posts celebrating their canine mothers, their human moms, and some appreciative shoutouts to dog dads, too, just so they wouldn’t be left out.

Some dogs even managed to work in a tribute at their workplaces.

Las Vegas Aviators batdog Finn, a black Lab, made sure to get a rose onto the field of The Las Vegas Ballpark.

Pianist Buddy Mercury the singing Beagle played a special Mother’s Day song.

Bunsen, a Bernese Mountain Dog scientist from Alberta, Canada, wished all moms a happy day, including his mom Masha.

Sir Winston Da Doodle, a Vegas Golden Knights superfan and a friend of Finn, Rookie and Bark-Andre Furry, posted a family portrait with his mom, dad and little brother Oliver.

Bark, who is a Jack Russell Terrier, had to tell all the moms in the Twittersphere “Happy Mother’s Day,” since his mom lives on a farm in California and he wasn’t able to tell her in person.

And Rookie wished his mother Reba, one of the best Golden Retrievers there ever was in his opinion, a happy holiday. He’s looking forward to the next visit from her and his sister Mickie.

Abby the Labrador was a good girl and got her human the box of tissues for her cold.

Rally was pretty sure it was Father’s Day already.

But once he learned it was actually Mother’s Day, he made sure to give Mom a shoutout and some extra cuddles, too.

The people behind the account Beagle Facts wished all moms a very happy Mother’s Day, commemorated by a very common and irritating – er, loveable – memory – puppies chewing on things they shouldn’t.

Rogue, part of a squad of elite zombie hunters, made sure Mom’s bowl was kept safe from any scary creepy zombies. He needs to work on his spelling, though.

We hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day, if you celebrated.
