Lisa Vanderpump of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is celebrating a major milestone as her dog rescue, Vanderpump Dogs hits two years in business.

Lisa Vanderpump and her dog rescue, Vanderpump Dogs have a lot to celebrate, according to The Daily Dish. Not only has the dog rescue center been in business for two years now, but they have also helped an incredible 900 dogs find new homes.

Over on Instagram, the rescue acknowledged their accomplishment with a picture of Lisa Vanderpump and her team outside of Vanderpump Dogs. In the post, they pointed out their two years and 900 dogs, while letting everyone know that they are really just getting started and have many more years and dogs to come. The rescue also thanked all of their followers and fans for all of the support they offer in an effort to make this world a more humane place for all of the dogs out there looking for their forever homes.

Even the Executive Director of the rescue chimed in on social media, with Dr. John Sessa letting everyone know that they have saved many lives in the last two years. He said that they have made quite a difference in the world, and we would have to agree as all rescue organizations do so much and often with so little.

Vanderpump Dogs first opened on March 2, 2017. And just in their first year in business they were able to help 500 dogs find new homes. After two years of helping pups, the rescue is also looking to expand, with a new location scheduled to open in China very soon (although we do not have an exact date yet).

With the achievements of the original Vanderpump Dogs location, we think their second rescue in China will be just as much of a success as the first. We look forward to learning more about the new location and seeing how well it does in its first year, especially on the heels of two very successful years at the first Vanderpump Dogs rescue.

We love when celebrities use their fame for good. And it is clear that Lisa Vanderpump has no problem using not only her fame, but also her animal activism for good use.

As dog lovers, we want to congratulate the Vanderpump Dogs team on their success as well. And look forward to another year (at least) of finding forever homes for even more pups.
