Game night and board games go hand in hand, but what if you’re a dog lover? That’s why we have to recommend Dog-opoly, a dog lover’s Monopoly.

Growing up, most of us have played Monopoly at least once. And there are some people who not only love board games, but really love this real estate trading game. But, if you are a dog lover, you might be looking for something fun that incorporates your love of pups, so look no further than Dog-opoly for your next board game obsession.

Much like the original game, the dog version of the game still offers up deeds and houses, but with a much more dog friendly twist. Rather than buying property deeds, you collect different breeds of dog, like the Chihuahua, the Yorkshire Terrier, the Saint Bernard, and the Great Dane. On top of the dogs themselves, you can purchase butcher shops in the neighborhood, and place doghouses on the board as well as big bones.

For the game pieces themselves, you’ll find such options as the mailman, a fire hydrant, and even a scared cat. Unlike the traditional Monopoly game where you go to jail, you instead go to the kennel. Plus, rather than Community Chest or Chance cards, there are Good Dog and Bad Dog cards.

And unlike traditional property deeds, you will actually learn some interesting fun facts about each of the dog breeds. Like the original board, where property is arranged by price with the best property being the most expensive, the dog breeds are instead arranged by size from smallest to largest.

Basically Dog-opoly is just like playing the standard game, but with the twists we want for dog lovers. And we love it! As fans of Monopoly, playing unique versions of the game can be so much fun and makes the game that much more exciting.

We think it is a lot of fun that there is a Dog-opoly game that allows us to have the best of both worlds – dogs and Monopoly. It gives us a chance to play a board game that features our favorite thing, and that really is a lot of fun.

Plus, the company that brought us Dog-opoly even has games specifically featuring different breeds, such as Lab-opoly, Yorkie-opoly, and more. So, if you want a game specifically for the dog in your life, they have you covered.
