Pugs of Instagram are here to brighten your year

The dogs of Instagram have spent the year making us smile and laugh. And the pugs of Instagram have been especially active in 2018.

While we generally look at the general category of dogs of Instagram when we talk about the holidays and special events, individual breeds are also represented in full force on the social media platform. And if you look up the pugs of Instagram, you’ll find post after post of pups ready to brighten your entire year.

While there are plenty of Insta-famous pugs, and pugs in the spotlight already, when you look up #PugsOfInstagram, you’ll find so many pups who are fun, feisty, and even fashion-forward. We took the time to check out the hashtag to see what the dogs of Instagram had in store for us and we were definitely not disappointed.

Of course, we couldn’t take a peek at the pugs of Instagram without sharing some of our favorite posts. From the adorable outfits to the fun hashtags and captions, we think these posts will brighten not just your day, but perhaps your entire year.

This pug was stylish in their blue sweater and the bow around their head, but it was the caption that got our attention. In honor of the day of the week (Friday), this pup wanted a paw shake. We don’t know about you, but we would definitely shake this pug’s paw anytime they wanted.

Christmas might be over, but for these two pugs, it was all about the hugs. And of course, the hashtags included in the post helped to steal the show (well behind these cuties).

This pug knows she is more than a princess – she is a queen! And with that pink sweater and crown on her head, we have to agree wholeheartedly. Here is a royal pug in her element, and we are here for it.

This pug is not only rocking his Adidas hoodie, but he is clearly waiting for his food. And with that face, we can’t imagine him having to wait too long. In fact, we bet food was on its way in no time.

Over the summer, this pug went for a more camouflaged look. Of course, we think he might have been spying, but he won’t tell us. Whatever he was up to, this pug is a cutie with plenty of adorable pictures on his feed.

It looks like this pug may have hopped on the scale after all of the holiday festivities. We could have warned them that scales are not our friends at this time of the year. But with this face and that fashion sense, we think this cutie will be fine (even if the scale is mean).

Finally we have Pugsley (we see what they did there), who is a fashion forward pup. And this sweater is a definite winner, giving this pug a look that is dignified and stylish. Honestly, we think this is one pug who could give some fashion tips to the other pups on the block.

There are thousands of pugs as part of the dogs of Instagram, and while we could have found hundreds of adorable posts and pictures, we had to reign ourselves in. However, we are definitely fans of these pups and think you will be too.
