Happy Halloween from the dogs of Twitter!

Like human kids, our dogs want to dress up for Halloween as well (or maybe they don’t, but they look cute in pictures so we make them dress up anyway). Either way, it’s fun to see how creative people got with their pets’ Halloween costumes.

There’s still time to get a costume for your dog from Petco or PetSmart for this year, or to get a head start on next year’s costume.

Rookie the Golden Retriever, batdog for the New York Yankees’ Double-A affiliate Trenton Thunder of the Eastern League, dressed up as a lion for a quick game of fetch in the outfield, but he’s got a different costume planned for later tonight.

This adorable yellow Lab ghost terrified WeRateDogs, as it should have:

This tiny dog, likely from New England, based on his owner’s UConn hat, tapped into his artistic instincts to go to a party as Bob Ross, the famous painter known for landscapes and his gentle, interesting outlook on the world.

The New York Islanders’ Pup on a Path, Radar the Lab, kept things simple with a pumpkin bandanna this year. He is learning how to be a guide dog with the Guide Dog Foundation, and training by spending the season with the National Hockey League club.

Speaking of hockey, Vegas Golden Knights superfan Bark-Andre Furry spent the day with a pal at the dog park. It looks like they had a great time.

The dog expert of Halloween, of course, is Molly King, AKA “The Thing of Evil,” whose owner is legendary author Stephen King. She’s been prepping for several days now by swiping candy from unsuspecting trick-or-treaters.

And while Molly might have Halloween all figured out, this cat might even do her one better:

Remember to keep chocolate very far away from your pets’ reach, and have a great holiday!
