Episode 14 of Will Trent Season 3 saw Will dealing with a tragic loss that also had him thinking about the past. In the opening scene of the episode, Rafael shows up at Will's house to tell him that his grandmother had passed away.

As the episode begins, we get to see Betty offering comfort to Rafael, before a trip down memory lane shows us the beginning of Rafael and Will's relationship. And of course, this includes Rafael's grandmother. In this scene, the trio connect over General Hospital, leading to a classic montage of stars from the soap opera, as well as the addition of both Betty and Will to that credit scene.

Seeing Betty pop up as if she was a General Hospital character was truly priceless, especially as fans of both shows. And even before the episode aired, we knew it was coming thanks to a post from both the Will Trent and General Hospital Instagram accounts. (You can see the post for yourself below.)

Maybe it is me, but this was the kind of scene that really stuck with us, simply because it was so different and fun. And the fact that they offered up this bit of fun in episode that was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions added to how special it really was.

Betty was a source of comfort in episode 14 of Will Trent

On top of those opening moments featuring Betty, we did get to see her later on in the episode as well. In fact, it really feels like Betty was all about offering comfort in this episode, since she was there to offer her support for Rafael's daughter Sunny in the closing scenes as well.

It turns out that Betty really is a comfort to more than just Will. And that makes a lot of sense. Betty is good at just being with people and letting them take comfort in her presence. Considering how difficult it has been for Will to lean on Betty after the devastating shooting that killed an innocent teenager, it makes sense that this episode would showcase the way that the pup can simply be there for people when they need her most.

Will Trent has been feeding us when it comes to the Betty content. And we love that for us. Here's hoping the last four episodes of the season continue to deliver.
