As our dogs get older, sometimes they have accidents in the house. And if you happen to leave your dog for longer than normal, they may not be able to hold out from having an accident. This is where pet pads become invaluable tools in our arsenal.
With the help of Pet Life Unlimited, and their new Health Tracker Dog Pads, we can not only help make it easier to clean up any potential accidents in our home, but also monitor our dog's health. These pet pads actually monitor our dog's urinary health. Not only do they allow your dog to have an accident inside without making a large mess, but they also keep track of what’s happening inside your dog.
What I mean by this is that these Health Tracker Dog Pads are designed to react to the PH in your dog's urine. It can detect things like kidney stones, UTIs, and other potential issues. When you put one of these pads down, you can get a better idea of any potential changes in your dog's overall health.
Pet Life Unlimited's Health Tracker Dog Pads make it easy to track our dog's health through their urine
We had the opportunity to test these Health Tracker Dog Pads out for ourselves, courtesy of Pet Life Unlimited. Considering we have an older dog, we know that accidents can happen. And what we noticed was that there is a very interesting sense of relief that comes from realizing that at least right now, there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with our pup.
With these pads, not only does it absorb the urine better than typical pads, or at least that’s what it seemed like to us, but it was nice to get a better understanding of how healthy our dog was. If your dog has a normal pH level, the pee pad will stay the same color, it might darken a little, but it doesn’t change colors from the green of the pad. However, if there is an imbalance or something abnormal happening in their urine, that change in pH will actually cause the dog pad to change in color to a purple shade. It’s a very obvious change in color, which we appreciate.
We have not seen that change for ourselves. But we are very happy about that. We don’t want there to be an issue. So having these Health Tracker Dog Pads has actually been a true relief.
Honestly, I love the idea of having these on hand just in case. We always have dog pads in the house because our staff pup is getting up there in age. At this point, she is about to be nine years old, so accidents will happen. Having these dog pads on hand is a must. And having dog pads that can help track her health make all the difference.
