Every year on Thanksgiving day, we tune in after the Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade to watch the National Dog Show presented by Purina. And this year is no different, as we love to see which dog will reign supreme.

After a competition that saw multiple dogs and their handlers give it their all, we officially have a new best in show. And our new best in show winner for the National Dog Show is none other than Vito the Pug. Considering Vito is the number two ranked dog in the US, it is not that surprising that he walked away with the title this year. This is not even his first time winning a best in show title, as he has actually won 25 other best in show titles.

Vito, whose official registered name is GCHG Andi in Cahoots, proved to be the perfect blend of charm and confidence in front of millions of viewers on NBC. All things considered, this Pug had it going on. After all, there were a lot of impressive dogs vying for the top prize.

George Milutinovich, who was the best in show judge explained that Vito truly represented the very best of what it meant to be a Pug. Specifically, he stated that Vito had the “compact features, movement-everything a Pug should be.”

If you watched the National Dog Show, then you already know that Vito had a lot of prescence on screen. In a lot of ways, he was a lot of dog in a smaller package. And we love that. Because we expect a dog that steals the show to actually win best in show.

The National Dog Show will air an encore presentation on December 1 from 4 to 6 PM Eastern time. And there will also be a special presentation of the national dog show on November 30 from one to 3 PM on CNBC. This gives you multiple opportunities to actually watch Vito walk away with that win.
