2025 has been a great year if you love Scooby-Doo and don't want to pay to watch it. That's where Tubi comes in.
Consistently throughout this year, Tubi has been adding Scooby-Doo specials to its platform. As most of us know, Tubi is free to watch. Basically, you can still get your Scooby-Doo fix without having to worry about getting a Max subscription.
No matter if you're subscribed to Max or not, you're sure to enjoy this Scooby-Doo special currently streaming on Tubi. Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Scarecrow feels like the perfect appetizer to get you ready for the fall season. While most of us are still battling the winter chill, many are already looking forward to Halloween.
Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Scarecrow is even themed around Halloween. Whether this is something you put on to get you in the Halloween spirit or just want some Scooby in your life, this is a short watch, perfect for an afternoon or the weekend.
Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Scarecrow is a fun and spooky watch.
Released in 2013, Scooby-Doo! and the Spooky Scarecrow starts with Cobb's Corner, in which the townspeople are getting ready for the upcoming Halloween festival. Upon getting things ready for the corn maze, two people are attacked by the Spooky Scarecrow. As with most Scooby specials, the gang is just there to visit and have fun.
However, once the mystery is discovered, everyone excluding Shaggy and Scooby can't wait to figure out what's going on. As far as mysteries go, this is a pretty simple one with a pretty straightforward criminal. Honestly, the plot isn't doing anything different than what we have already watched in other Scooby-Doo movies.
Instead, the major draw here is just how spooky the scarecrow is. While it's not nearly as scary as Batman's Scarecrow, it's pretty darn close. After watching a handful of these Scooby-Doo specials, I can confidently say this monster has one of the scarier looks. There are also some fun corn-themed dishes Scooby and Shaggy try out if that's your thing.
As with most of these shorter Scooby-Doo specials, this one was fun but not overly memorable. If you're looking for some spooky Scooby-Doo content, give this one a try.
