Will Rubble & Crew create a surge in new dog names?
Paw Patrol has been a favorite for kids since its premiere and now, the show has expanded into Rubble & Crew. Our favorite construction pup is now working with his family at their business.
While the show hasn't been around long, it's become a favorite for Paw Patrol and Rubble fans alike as it's cute, fun, and feels close enough to the original without being too similar. Even so, the show introduced some new characters which is always fun.
Of course, we have the lead of the show which is Rubble. He's then joined by his family members which include Mix, Charger, Wheeler, and Motor. In addition. there are some secondary characters including Mr. Ducky Doo, Mayor Greatway, Juniper and Omar among others.
With the show being so heavily tied to Paw Patrol and kids loving it as well, could we see a rise in pet names from Rubble & Crew?
Will Rubble & Crew create a surge in certain dog names?
As far as dog names go, TV shows are one of the most popular options people go with. It can be in large part due to a character they love or something about the show they couldn't forget. That's why I feel like Rubble & Crew has the potential to make an impact as kids will associate with names with dogs who look similar.
While the dogs don't even have to look remotely similar, certain markings and colors are sure to have them thinking of their favorite member of the Rubble & Crew. In addition, the names of the characters are pretty unique so I doubt you'll see other pups with those names. Either way, that's what makes them such cool choices.
Even though Rubble & Crew isn't as popular as its predecessor, it's still a show that a lot of kids watch and enjoy. Maybe we won't see a huge uptick in names from the series now but in the future, I'm sure it will be something pet parents use or have kids who want to use those names. Until then, your littles can just watch and enjoy episodes of Rubble & Crew without a puppy companion.
