If there's one thing we can all appreciate, it's picking out a good name for your pet. For some, they look to their favorite pop culture moments and Bridgerton is a huge one.

Based on the book series by Julia Quinn, Shondaland's revamp of the beloved series has taken the world by storm. Every time there's a new season, people are a flurry with thoughts, and feelings and want to enjoy Bridgerton as much as possible.

With Bridgerton being as massively popular as it is, it's bound to create some trends and we even suggested a few names of our own. However, it does make me think that Bridgerton fans are going to try to capitalize on just how much they adore these characters and the series as a whole.

By the end of 2024, will we see an uptick in pets being named after everyone's favorite Bridgerton characters?

Will 2024 start a Bridgerton trend with those becoming pet parents?

Every single year since Bridgerton has come out, it has gained more and more fans. There is just something utterly delightful about the show, its characters and their romances. That's why I feel like pet parents are just wanting to try to use these names. Of course, some might be saving them to use when they have children but some are just planning to be pet parents.

With that being said, I do think we'll see an uptick in people using the Bridgerton siblings and their partners as names for their pets. Of course, we have to start with Colin and Penelope but let's also include Pen. I feel like those names are bound to be HUGE along with Daphne, Simon, Kate, and Anthony. Even though these two pairings have already had their own season, fans still adore these couples.

In addition to the show, fans are also going back and reading the books which could prove to be even more inspiration. While we don't have any clear data at the moment on these trends, I do feel like Bridgerton will end up being the inspiration for many new dog and cat names this year. Of course, the trend will die down as the show is filming but once it comes back, I think it's more of the same.
