Heading into 2024, the idea of bringing home a new puppy might sound appealing. There is something so special about a puppy and what they bring into our lives. But at the same time, we do need to consider things beyond how much we love puppies (and dogs). It is also important to think about how much that puppy might cost.

Thanks to a recent report from MarketWatch, we actually have a better idea of just how much certain puppy breeds would cost as we head into 2024. And if you are looking to get a new puppy, you might also be wondering what the least expensive breeds are.

If you are trying to bring home a puppy, the cost of that dog is important to consider. And since this initial cost doesn't really take into account things like monthly food bills, trips to the vet, or even just the cost of spoiling our new furry friend, it is always a good idea to get a general idea of what puppies from a breeder will cost you.

In particular, we wanted to know what the least expensive dog breeds were as we head into 2024. And not only that, we wanted to know just how much these puppies cost on average.
