In September 2022, PetSmart unveiled a collaboration with Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent that was all about bringing style, form, and function into the world of small pet living. That initial collection was geared toward pets like hamsters, reptiles, and fish. At the time, we mentioned that we were really hoping that they decided to expand their offerings for our bigger pets.

And our wish was answered in February 2024! That's right the Nate + Jeremiah for PetSmart collection is now available for our dogs and cats comfort as well. The new addition to the collection includes table style pet crates, a side table with a cubby hole for our cats to sleep in and even an elevated sofa bed for our dogs. Basically, these pieces allow us to bring elevated classics into our homes that still work for our pets.

This is a chance to think about your decor choices as much as the comfort of your dog or cat. In our case, we have both a staff cat and a staff pup. And they were just as excited for this new collection as we were. Not only do we love the style of these pieces, but also the functionality. There is something about beautiful pieces that are pet friendly that really makes us happy.

Our staff cat had the chance to test out the Chestnut Wood Finish Side Table Pet Home, which is both a side table and a place for our cat to nap. It was a win for the cat, maybe not so much as a side table. The problem is that the staff cat immediately knew that this was for him and that included the top of it as well, so it became less of a side table and more of a this is all mine and I get to sleep on top too. We really love this piece because it really does fit in perfectly in any room of the house, which is a win too.

It wasn't just our staff cat who got to try something new from this collection, as our staff pup got the chance to test out the Elevated Pet Bed, which looks like a mini couch. Our staff pup loves dog beds. She never says no to a new bed and while it took her a bit to understand that this was for her and that it really did require her to step up into it, once that happened, she was all about this new bed.

This collection is beautiful and we would expect nothing less from Nate & Jeremiah. They are all about bringing beautiful functionality to their designs and that is exactly what we get with these pieces.

Honestly, we can't wait to see if Nate & Jeremiah decide to continue adding to this collection in the future and what else they can create with our pets in mind. As fans of both the designers and PetSmart, we love the fact that there is a line of pet furniture that really thinks about the different styles that pet parents have when it comes to their decor and what they bring into their homes.
