Baseball is easily one of America's most popular sports and loads of teams host fun events including the El Paso Chihuahuas.

Not only is their team named after a dog, but they're making sure to show some love to one of our favorite cartoon dogs: Scooby-Doo. On August 31st, the team is hosting its very own Scooby-Doo Night.

The Chihuahuas are taking on the Tacoma Rainiers at the Southwest University Park and they aren't sparing any details. In an article shared by a local CBS station, "According to the team, the Chihuahuas players will be decked out in limited-edition Scooby-Doo themed jerseys during the game. The one-of-a-kind jerseys will also be auctioned off with all the proceeds going towards local non-profit organizations through the El Paso Chihuahuas Foundation." Sounds like a groovy time no matter how big of a fan you are.

In addition, the team will be selling Scooby-Doo/Chihuahuas bobbleheads for fans to grab while attending the game. After the game, there will be Scooby-Doo-themed fireworks which just sounds so freaking cool. If you're able to go, this sounds like such a fun time and it's for a good cause.

Before getting into the foundation, I wanted to share the link if you're able to go and want to grab some last-minute tickets. They're available on the team's website. The article also shared some info about the auction which is that: "Mystery Incorporated and Chihuahua's fans can participate by texting “BID” to (915) 600-6677." At least you'll know that you're getting something completely unique and sometimes, that's worth the price.

No matter if you're a baseball fan or just love Scooby-Doo, this is worth looking into. Plus it's Labor Day weekend so why not spend it, doing something fun? If you're not able to attend, you can still participate in the auction and get the chance to grab a fun Scooby-Doo-themed baseball jersey.
