Snoopy will always remain a timeless character, no matter how old he is.

Gen Z's love for Snoopy is yet another example of why the beloved beagle is iconic.

When Charles Schulz created the Peanuts comic strip, there was no way that he knew just how beloved Snoopy would become. While the rest of the Peanuts gang is great, no one holds a candle to Snoopy.

The beagle has become much more than just a comic strip or a holiday special. For a lot of people, he's become a huge part of their childhood and even a larger part of their adult life.

A recent article written by NPR discussed why Snoopy is such a beloved fixture for Gen Zers and how he's become such a huge part of the pop culture landscape. Ultimately, it comes down to a few factors as he's a relatable character, has become a social media darling and says what we're all thinking with just a few facial expressions.

No matter if you're a fan of the Peanuts crew or just love Snoopy, you can agree that Snoopy is only getting bigger and his impact is being felt by people of all ages.

Snoopy's impact continues to grow decades later.

The thing that always blows my mind is just how many people love Snoopy. While most people don't read the comics now, they're well aware of him due to merchandise, his collabs with brands, and even, his holiday specials. The machine keeps growing and Snoopy has truly become the figurehead for the entire Peanuts brand.

The only reason I think Snoopy's impact continues to grow is that Snoopy is growing with his consumers. Yes, there are definitely products, shows, and movies directed to kids but there are a lot of Snoopy-related products for adults. Whether you're looking for mugs, blankets, or even, a Loungefly backpack, there's something for every person no matter how big of a Snoopy fan they are.

In a way, Snoopy helps bridge the gap in generations that nothing before him has. People of all ages can talk about him, no problem. Whether they're discussing how cute he is, a funny moment or even, sharing their thoughts on the latest Peanuts movie, everyone has something to say. There is something so culturally significant about that and is why Snoopy is still talked about as much as he is today.

Ultimately, I can point to examples in my own life as my mother loves Snoopy and so do I and so does my nephew. We're all varying ages and yet that one thing connects us. There is something utterly poetic about three generations being able to connect over Snoopy. No doubt others can relate to that sentiment and it makes for a shared experience which is exactly what the Peanuts crew is all about.
