There are so many great Scooby-Doo series so let's rank the first episode of each.

If there is one cartoon dog who will never get old, it's Scooby-Doo and the rest of Mystery Incorporated which includes Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma.

Since these characters are so beloved, I thought it'd be a fun experience to go back and watch the first episode of every single Scooby-Doo series. Unsurprisingly, there are less TV shows than movies so I didn't have to dedicate more than week to this mission.

With that being said, I wanted to list out all of the shows I'm including on my list which ends up being 13 in total. The shows are as follows: Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, The New Scooby-Doo Movies, The Scooby-Doo Show, Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (again!), The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show, The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, What's New, Scooby-Doo?, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! and Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?

As you can see, there are plenty of shows to talk about so let's start with the show at the bottom of my list.

Coming in the #13 is a unique Scooby-Doo show for sure.

13. Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue! "Shags To Riches"

When one thinks of the worst Scooby-Doo series, there aren't too many that come to mind. Let me just start by saying that I've seen clips of Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue. Due to that admission, I must share that I only got a few minutes into "Shags to Riches" before turning it off as it was easily the biggest disappointment.

While the animation is one thing to discuss, the major flaw of this series is that it didn't feature either Casey Kasem or Matthew Lillard as Shaggy. Instead, the series opted to go with Scott Menville but he just wasn't Shaggy. As much as I'd love to be the lone hater on this one, I will share that this has an abysmal IMDB score of 4.5 so that should tell you everything you need to know. All in all, if you're looking for a new Scooby series to watch, this one isn't it.
