Quinta Brunson shows some love to Bluey and we're here for it

It's clear everyone loves Bluey including Quinta Brunson. Originally of Buzzfeed fame, Brunson has gone on to create Abbott Elementary.

Her series has become a favorite among fans of her work, teachers, and even those who hadn't heard of Brunson before. However, she brought one of our favorite blue pups up in her recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

When asked about what her "Wonka" aka a project she'd love to do if asked, she was quick to say that she was introduced to Bluey by her nieces and nephew. She then went on to say: "My dream is to make a Bluey, something so silly and unrelated to me, and I get to hide in the shadows." I don't know about you, but there is something so utterly amazing about that sentiment.

While most of us know about Brunson as she's a huge part of Abbott Elementary, it makes sense why she would point to Bluey as a great example.

Quinta Brunson is a Bluey lover like the rest of us!

I feel like there are a few reasons why she chose Bluey. First is because it's a great show and she clearly holds some fondness for us. Even for childless people, the show feels like a breath of fresh air and something to be excited about. Frankly, that feels like a major connection to Abbott Elementary.

In addition, Joe Brumm is the creator of Bluey and basically leaves it at that. He does work on the show and does his thing, but he essentially "hides in the shadows" as Brunson put it. While he does talk to the media and show love for the series, it's clear he's got his nose to the grindstone to create content and truly focus on Bluey.

While it might seem like a long-shot, I can honestly see Quinta Brunson making her own take on Bluey as I feel like animation is such a hot medium right now. It's unlikely it'll have the same concept as the series but it feels so different from what she's doing now. Until Abbott Elementary wraps up though, I doubt we'll be getting any type of Bluey-ish show from Brunson.

We can only hope we get something that's a mix of Brunson's brand and the comfort of Bluey. Until then, there are plenty of amazing episodes of both Bluey and Abbott Elementary to stream.
