The very first episode of Scooby-Doo aired on Sept. 13, 1969. And that means that this month marks 55 years of Scooby and his friends. So when we saw that Loungefly had a new Scooby mini backpack and wallet for Halloween, it felt like we were celebrating an anniversary the right way.
Just in time for Halloween (and the 55th anniversary), Loungefly is giving us two new pieces of Scooby merch that is sure to make any fan happy. Scooby is cosplaying as a skeleton for his newest collection, and these pieces are too cute not to pick up as fans.
Up first we have the Scooby-Doo™ Skeleton Cosplay Glow Mini Backpack, and yes it really does glow in the dark. This backpack sees Scooby dressed up like a skeleton with his big heart on full display. There is a zipper pull that looks like a charm you would see on Scooby's collar, the straps feature bones, and on the back is Scooby dancing around in his full skeleton costume. Inside the bag, the lining features glowing skeletons and bones, as well as our dancing Scooby-Doo.

The mini backpack is currently available on the Loungefly site, which means you could potentially have it in time for Scooby's TV anniversary. The backpack comes with a price tag of $80, which is in line with so many of their other special collaboration backpacks.
And of course, the collection would not be complete without a matching wallet. The Scooby-Doo™ Skeleton Cosplay Glow Zip Around Wallet is a perfect match to the mini backpack, right down to the lining inside the wallet and the dancing Scooby in costume on the other side.
Just like the mini backpack, the wallet is available on the Loungefly website right now. The wallet has a price tag of $40, which might be a bit higher than some of their wallets, but makes perfect sense with this attention to detail and the fact that it does glow in the dark.
Honestly, these two pieces are so cute and perfect for Halloween. These are also great for fans who love Scooby-Doo that are looking for new pieces to add to their collections.
