Gold medalist Caeleb Dressel is a pet parent with both a dog and cat waiting at home

With the summer Olympics underway, we are all about learning more about the athletes representing their countries in Paris. And we are especially here for finding out which Olympians are pet parents. And the latest athlete we have done our research on is none other than swimmer Caeleb Dressel.

Since our first real introduction to Dressel at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, he has been a fan favorite of ours. In a lot of ways, he is a legendary American swimmer, with nine gold medals at the Olympics to his name. And at the Paris Olympics, he walked away with three medals, two of which were gold and one which was a silver. While the games were not quite what he expected them to be, it is clear that he still has what it takes to be a champion.

But for us, it was learning that he is a dad that has our hearts. Not only did he welcome his first child with his wife Meghan in February, but he is also a pet parent, with both a dog and a cat waiting at home for him.

Over on his social media, Caeleb Dressel has shared some epic posts featuring both his Black Lab, Jane, and his cat, Rems. And it is clear that he really loves his pets as he actually works with Nulo Pet Food! Honestly, some of our favorite partnerships are the ones between athletes and pet food brands, as it is a reminder that the best want the best for their fur children too.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, once we saw that Dressel was partnered with a pet food brand, we kept scrolling through his social media to see if he was someone who shared pictures and videos of their pets. And he is! Which we love.

So of course, we are here for the pet content on his Instagram and we are living for the Christmas video from 2023 featuring Rems, Meghan and Caeleb that you can see below! (It is ridiculously cute.)

And while we love the Rems content, we can't skip out on the Jane posts. In fact, there is a great one featuring Jane in the pool, proving that swimming really is life in the Dressel household.

We love that Caeleb Dressel shared the video of Jane swimming in the pool, especially as we got to see these two sharing pool time together.

We love learning more about the Olympians. And we really love when they have pets at home that they clearly love and are willing to share with their followers.
