If you follow Chris Evans on social media, you already know (and love) his adorable pup Dodger. The actor’s love for his pooch is our favorite thing! It helps that Dodger is the friendliest, happiest doggo we’ve ever seen, but how can you not be when your dad is Chris Evans, one of the biggest names in Hollywood?
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, actor Chris Evans brought his foster dog Dodger to set. Because where Evans goes, Dodger follows! But with such a busy, on-the-go lifestyle, does Dodger get anxiety? Is he easily overwhelmed? No. None of that! On the contrary, Dodger loves the attention from everyone, he is a true social butterfly.
Evans adopted Dodger in 2015 and the two formed an instant bond, becoming inseparable BFFs. What we love the most about their story, is that Evans wasn’t even planning on adopting a best friend that day. The actor was filming a scene for a movie at the shelter and he fell in love with Dodger as soon as he saw him. Several years have passed, but Evans shares that Dodger is still very much a puppy at heart.
When Us Weekly asked Evans how he thinks Dodger would do if he were to accompany Evans on the red carpet the actor commented that his pup would probably love it, commenting:
"“[Being on set] might be one of his favorite places just because every single person is saying how Dodger is a little social butterfly.”"Chris Evans
And lately, all of the attention is on Dodger since he has been helping his dad promote their partnership with the high-quality dog food brand, Jinx. Evans has been working with Jinx since 2022, and their mission is to provide nutritious, affordable dog food and treats. Because feeding our beloved pets shouldn’t break the bank. As Evans puts it, “I think rich dogs shouldn’t be the only ones that have good nutrition.”
Whether you’ve purchased Jinx for your pup before or not, hurry on to Walmart! The source shares that this month (August 2024) 5% of every Jinx purchase made at Walmart will go towards the USO Canine Program.
Jinx offers a variety of goodies, including dental chews and jerky treats, as well as dry and wet dog food in several flavors. My pup’s favorite dry food flavor is salmon, brown rice, and sweet potato.
