Weekends are all about kicking back and going out to eat and this upcoming weekend, you don't have to leave your pup at home. Instead, CESAR is making sure your pups enjoy the experience just like you.
On Friday, August 16th, and Saturday, August 17th, diners at five different New York City restaurants have the chance to bring their furry best friend along with them. In addition, CESAR is also offering a menu to make sure they're able to enjoy a meal, too.
Dubbed "CESAR's Restaurant Weekend," it's a chance for those who either live in or are visiting NYC to be able to bring their dog along with them. This comes off the heels of Mars' Pet Connect Us Report from 2023 in which people shared that: "only 20% of pet owners in the U.S. and Canada say their neighborhood offers pet-friendly restaurants and cafés..." This focus on pet-friendly restaurants is the latest in an effort by Mars Petcare and TripAdvisor.
We'll talk about which restaurants in a second, but this is such a fun idea and one that I think a lot of pet parents can get behind.
Which restaurants are participating in CESAR's Restaurant Weekend?
The first restaurant is City Vineyard at Pier 26 which is located in Hudson River Park. The hours for pups are Friday from 12:00 pm-4 pm and then Saturday, the hours are the same. Next is Torch & Crown at SoHo and Union Square with its hours being Friday from 5 pm to 8 pm and then Saturday from 12 pm to 3 pm.
Moving onto Brooklyn, Miraim will be hosting hours on Friday from 11:00 am to 3 pm and then on Saturday from 10:00 am to 2 pm. Lastly is 1803 in Tribeca/Manhattan which has hours on Friday and Saturday from 4:00 pm to 8 pm. If you're able to head to any of these, we'd love to know how things went for you and your pup.
If you're curious about what's on the menu for your dog, CESAR has multiple options including CESAR Mini-Pouch, CESAR Wholesome Bowls, and more. Additionally, the restaurants will be giving away doggy swag bags for your pup to enjoy once you're home. There's also going to be plenty of attention paid to your pup, making sure they feel like the guest of honor.
All in all, it sounds like a pawsitively amazing time for pets and pet parents. Hopefully, we'll see other brands and restaurants taking a page from CESAR's book. Either way, this is bound to be an exciting experience for diners of all sizes and species.
