Camp Snoopy: Here's everything we know about the Apple TV+ show

If there's one way for Apple TV+ to get me to subscribe, it's a new Snoopy show and Camp Snoopy might be the push I need.

Since Apple acquired all of the Peanuts original films, the brand has been expanding the franchise's film catalog. So far, there have been a few Peanuts originals but none is more exciting than 2024's Camp Snoopy.

Featuring our favorite fearless Beagle and his troop of Beagle Scouts, Snoopy, Woodstock and the rest of the Peanuts Gang will be appearing in a new adventure on June 14th. This comes at the perfect time as school is out for most kids and parents will no doubt be on the hunt for something fun to watch.

At this point, Apple has shared the title, a description, and the release date for the series but nothing about how many episodes or seasons we're getting. Looking at the trailer though, we can only hope that we don't only get one season of Camp Snoopy.

As you can see from the trailer, the Peanuts gang is headed to Spring Lake for summer camp and Snoopy is along for the ride. Honestly, I think it's pretty funny that Snoopy and his own troop of Beagle Scouts are tagging along. Of course, it might not be the best thing for Charlie Brown but the two are best friends for a reason.

If the trailer wasn't enough to entice you to check it out, the description from Apple TV+ might do the trick: "After discovering their troop is in danger of disbanding, Snoopy and the Beagle Scouts set off to immerse themselves in nature and the Great Outdoors to earn their badges, with the Beagle Scout Manual as their guide. Meanwhile, Charlie Brown and friends enjoy their summer at Camp Spring Lake, crossing paths with Snoopy as they experience hiking, swimming, sitting around campfires and everything summer camp and the outdoors have to offer." This show sounds like an absolute blast and might make kids want to follow Snoopy's lead and go play outside.

Whether you're someone who has loved the Peanuts characters for years or want to introduce your little ones to Snoopy, this feels like a great way to do that. As someone who has loved Snoopy for years, Camp Snoopy looks incredibly cute and the perfect thing to enjoy while spending time inside, cooling off. Plus it fills in that gap with not having a summer-themed holiday Peanuts film.

Camp Snoopy will begin streaming on Apple TV+ on June 14th, 2024.
