Build-A-Bear channels their inner fat cats with new Garfield plush

Set to release on May 24, The Garfield Movie is already making waves with the help of all of the merchandise and collaborations that have come out ahead of the film premiering in theaters. It is definitely an exciting time to be a fan of Garfield, and now is the perfect time to head to the Build-A-Bear website and get your hands on the perfect plush for summer.

That’s right, Build-A-Bear has released a new Garfield plush that is an online exclusive. And not only that, but you can choose some goodies to dress up your Garfield with. Not only is there a Garfield plush by itself, with no clothing or accessories, but there are three different gift sets to choose from as well. Of course, you can also choose to snag the Garfield hoodie, the Garfield lasagna wristie, or the Garfield Pooky plush wristie by themselves.

The three gift sets include a Garfield plush Pooky gift set, which has Garfield in his hooded sweatshirt and holding Pooky in his arms. For the second gift set, we have Garfield with his lasagna wristie while wearing his hoodie. And finally, there is the Garfield Plush lasagna and Pooky gift set, which is literally just Garfield holding his lasagna slice and his teddy bear without his hoodie on.

Garfield is now on the Build-A-Bear website with some fun accessories

If you want to grab the basic Garfield plush, that will cost you $32 online. And then the gift sets range between $46 and $52. But like we mentioned, you can also buy the accessories separate, with the lasagna slice wristie costing $6.50, the hoodie is $12.50, and finally we have the Pooky plush wristie which is $7.50.

We love this set for so many reason. Not only is this a great way to show off your love of Garfield, but anytime you can get a Build-A-Bear, you know that you are getting a quality plushy that tells your story. Honestly, we might just get the Garfield Pooky plush wristie for one of our other Build-A-Bear plushies. But then again, can we really have a Pooky without the Garfield?

I would love to see Build-A-Bear expand their Garfield collection by at least giving us an Odie plush as well. And in conjunction with The Garfield Movie 2024, we would love to see the baby Garfield as a plush too.
