In the second to last episode of season three of Will Trent, there were so many twists, turns and revelations that we can only imagine what the finale is going to bring. And for most of the season, we have been talking about the fact that we have not gotten a lot of Nico, who typically watches Betty while Will is at work. Well, we need not worry, as Nico and Betty were truly in the thick of things in this episode.

This penultimate episode of Will Trent season three gave us a lot of Betty and Nico content. Not only did we get to see multiple Betty fashions, but Betty was with Nico throughout the episode. And that’s a bit of a problem since this episode saw Nico and Ormewood in the hospital when it was locked down because of what seems like it is a terrorist attack.

Will Trent Season 3’s 17th episode gave us a lot of Betty and Nico

Honestly, what was interesting about this episode was how hard it went. We had revelations about who Will Trent’s father is, we found out that Angie is pregnant and we have a small town murder that has big implications. In fact, the storyline in this episode is going to carryover into the finale, and we would not be surprised if we saw more of it in season four.

While we did not get to see Betty and Will together very much, except in the opening scene, we do appreciate the fact that she was very present in this episode. She and Nico were there to help Ormewood with his VA appointment. And then when Ormewood showed up at the hospital to get information about a possible victim of an attack that they are investigating, Nico and Betty were once again on hand. It was a very circular episode, but one that made a lot of sense.

Honestly, I cannot wait to see what happens in the Will Trent season three finale. It looks like things are getting heavy. And we have terrorists in Atlanta. Plus, we are worried about not only Nico and Betty, but also Ormewood and Angie’s love interest, who happens to be a doctor in that hospital. It’s about to get very interesting on Will Trent. And we can only hope that the season three finale doesn’t leave us with a cliff hanger. We need to know that, Nico, Betty, Ormewood, and our doctor love are still okay when this season ends.
