Justice for Beagle Scout Snoopy at the 2024 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

If there is one parade balloon we look forward to every year at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade it would have to be the Snoopy. And for 2024, it was all about getting justice for the Beagle Scout Snoopy balloon from 2023.

For anyone who doesn't know, during the 2023 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade while traveling down the parade route, Snoopy's Beagle Scout hat got into it with a tree branch. This led to a bit of balloon deflation, as his hat ultimately deflated. As Entertainment Weekly reported about the 2023 balloon, "there was an unforeseen gust that tipped Beagle Scout Snoopy a little further than we anticipated and a slight puncture hit and unfortunately, we had a portion — what we call a chamber — a chamber began to deflate."

Beagle Scout Snoopy had a successful Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade experience

In an effort to make sure that the 2024 Beagle Scout Snoopy balloon didn't have the same experience, it seems that they reworked the way they traversed the route to make sure that he survived the entire parade journey.

Honestly, we love the Beagle Scout Snoopy Balloon for so many reasons. We love how cute he looks and the way that Woodstock sits perched on his hat with his own Beagle Scout hat on his head. And of course, they are prepared for any adventures in the woods with their backpack in tow.

And luckily it was a complete success, as Snoopy and Woodstock were able to make it to the end of the parade route without any issues. Perhaps the only issue during the 2024 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was the fact that it was a rainy and cold day in New York City.

We can't wait to see if they bring Beagle Scout Snoopy back for the 2025 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade or if they will give us a totally different Snoopy balloon.
