Keeping up with your dog on walks or hikes is a challenge in itself, and then you have to keep up with all the extras, such as collapsible water bowls and poop bags, and then holding on to the poop bags until you can find a trash bag. But these are all necessary aspects of walking your dog safely and responsibly.

What is StitchLeash?
StitchLeash is an all-in-one dog leash that stemmed from an idea from the founder's 5-year-old son to be able to have all of your dog walking essentials in one place.
The leash has eyelets in it that allows you to attach a waste bag dispenser, poop bag holder, and any other accessories that can be attached with a carabiner clip, such as dog toys or a collapsible water bowl. Even better, if you purchase a starter kit, not only do you get the leash, but also accessories including:
- A waste bag dispenser and a supply of waste bags
- A poop bag holder to hold the dirty poop bags until you can find a trash can
- Four carabiner clip hooks to attach the accessories to the leash
StitchLeash also comes in two different varieties: a traditional nylon leash and a retractable leash. The retractable leash comes in two colors (black and white) and the nylon leash comes in five colors (black, blue, red, green, and pink).
My experience with StitchLeash
I'm going to be honest. When I first learned about StitchLeash, I thought it was a genius idea from the get-go. My family and I love to travel, and we bring our dog Penny along. We take her on hikes with us, especially during the summer months, and we always have to attach her waste bag dispenser and water bowl to one of our backpacks.
I said to myself that I wish there was a way to just attach these things to Penny's leash without them being in the way so we didn't have to remove our backpacks to get them. So I was really excited to see that someone had actually created this type of product.
I opted for the traditional 6-foot-long Bryce nylon leash instead of the Coops retractable leash, just because some of the places we like to hike with Penny don't allow retractable leashes or leashes over 6 feet long. But I'm sure the retractable leash is just as good if the quality of the nylon leash is any indication.
The leash is sturdy and well put together, lightweight, and it has reflective stitching so you can walk your dog safely in low-light conditions. The accessories that came with the leash are good quality too, and I like that it came with clips so you don't have to go out and buy those separately. I was also able to attach Penny's water bowl to the leash, which was a huge help to just be able to grab it quickly and fill it up for her.
My favorite part is that Made Simpli, the company that makes StitchLeash, is committed to giving back and donates 10% of the profits from StitchLeash to animal welfare organizations. I will always support companies that give back, especially when they help animals!
