Chef Anne Burrell introduces the world to the newest addition to her family

When it comes to Food Network stars, there are some chefs and celebrities that have made a name for themselves beyond the screen. And in a lot of ways, Chef Anne Burrell is one of those people. She seems to have a larger than life personality and she has no problem speaking her mind.

Early in October, Burrell took to Instagram to share some sad news about one of the furry members of her family. On October 9, she announced that her beloved cat Marcia had unexpectedly passed away. In the post, she shared that she and her husband were devastated by the loss, while also letting their kitty know that they would always love her.

However, there is now some happy news from Chef Anne Burrell, as it seems that there has been a new addition made to their family. That is because on October 23, she introduced her followers to her new kitten, Lorraine.

Lorraine is a five month old Maine Coon Cat and she already looks perfectly happy in her new home. While there is another kitty already in the house, it seems like the duo are settling in well, with some minor kitty drama (as one would expect). Chef Anne did say that there had been some hissing, but we expect nothing less as one kitty learns exactly what the other kitty in the house will tolerate from a newbie.

While we were truly saddened by the news of Marcia's passing, we do love that Chef Anne has found a new furry friend to spoil. And considering she already had a kitty at home who was missing their previous companion, it makes sense that she decided to find them a new friend.
