When one thinks of Scooby-Doo, most of us think about the gang-solving mysteries, the Mystery Machine, or Scooby Snacks. There is obviously Scooby and Shaggy's monstrous appetites to think about as well.

Since Halloween is right around the corner and there is plenty of awesome Scooby content out there, we decided to take a look at The Scooby-Doo! Cookbook. The book is written by Katrina Jorgensen and features "kid-friendly recipes for the whole gang."

Not only does the book have a fun cover, but it starts with some important tips. Whether you're bringing your little Scooby fan in the kitchen with you or sharing the space with someone who is a newbie, the tips are helpful. Aside from reminding people to make sure their hands are clean along with all other tools, it also includes a conversion table for those using Metric.

After that, the book goes straight into the recipes and there's no rhyme or reason. You basically have to flip through and find something you're willing to try.

The Scooby-Doo! Cookbook is great for cooks of all levels.

Once you flip through the book and see all the recipes, it's clear they're going for something simple and fun to do. In addition, the recipes all have fun names such as "Jinkies! Juice Pops," "Coolsville Crisp Chips," and "The Mystery Map Pizza," to name a few. If you do end up purchasing this cookbook, you'll see just how much detail was put into naming the recipes.

While this cookbook won't offer much to home chefs who cook on a daily, it does feature some fun treats to try. It doesn't feature many main dishes and is focused on snacks and sweets. When most of us think of Scooby-Doo though, we're usually thinking about Scooby Snacks so that makes sense. It also features tips and tricks to make things a little easier.

Ultimately, this Scooby-Doo! Cookbook relies more on your love for Scooby-Doo and sometimes, that's enough. If you're shopping for a Scooby-Doo fan or want to get your favorite Scooby fan in the kitchen, this is a great pick. Plus it's relatively cheap on Amazon so if you're looking to grab a copy, you won't be spending that much.
