During the second season of the US version of The Traitors, we were introduced to Alan Cumming’s dog, Lala. The sweet pup was at her father’s side for a variety of the challenges. And while we didn’t necessarily see her that often, she still made an impression.
And, in season three, we have been lucky enough to get even more of our iconic Lala. e really feel like in season three, she has become the true star of the show. Not only does she share in her father’s amazing sense of fashion, but in the fifth episode of this season she even wore a crown (much like her father did).
Honestly, even though we haven’t been seeing nearly enough of Lala on The Traitors, every time she does pop up, she becomes a scene stealer. In fact, I didn’t pay nearly enough attention to the fifth episode’s challenge because I was looking for Lala. I wanted to see her in her crown, looking all sweet and sassy. The fact that we only got one brief look at her style this episode was almost devastating.
Maybe it’s us and the fact that we are a dog site, but we want more Lala. We need to see her running around the castle or sitting in on the round table discussion. We want to see her walking in next to Alan as he gets the contestants ready for their next challenge, while also discarding the picture of the person murdered the night before.
That being said, we have to appreciate the fact that Alan Cumming actually created an Instagram account for Lala. That’s right, Lala Cumming has her very own Instagram account. And we have had a chance to see some of the behind the scenes moments featuring Lala and Alan in Scotland.
I have to admit that I love checking out Lala‘s Instagram account. And I will keep doing it so that we can get our fix of Lala. But we definitely want to see more of her on our screens. She is basically the cohost of The Traitors, after all.
Considering we are only five episodes in, there’s still plenty of time for more Lala this season. However, we are making it known right now that she is our star of the show. And she’s a big reason why we keep coming back for more.
