Lili Reinhart talks about the importance of her rescue dog in her life on Instagram

You may know Lili Reinhart from her time on The CW’s Riverdale, or maybe from one of her film roles, such as Hustlers or Chemical Hearts. Or maybe you know her from her presence on social media.

Whatever reason you know Reinhart for, we love the fact that she is a proud dog mom. Over the years, we have seen posts in which the actress talks about her rescue dog, Milo, and also her own journey in the public eye. And in a new post shared to Instagram on December 18, the actress posted a very poignant message about the importance of her dog in her life.

In the Instagram post that features both a picture of Lili Reinhart hugging Milo in her arms, as well as a super cute picture of the pup posing on his own, we get to see exactly how important Milo is to the actress. The post, which is basically a reminder of how important our pets can be, reads:

"I’m not sure I’d be here today without my Milo. Through my darkest battles with depression, he has been my angel. Here’s a gentle sign, if you’re looking for one, to rescue a dog (if you’re able to). Best decision I ever made."

Considering the importance of pets on mental health, this post is a reminder that our rescue dogs can be our heroes without even realizing it. And we love the fact that Reinhart is being open and vulnerable with this post. She is making it clear that Milo has saved her in so many ways.
