Is Petco open on Thanksgiving Day 2023?

When it comes to taking care of our pets, it does not matter what day of the year it is, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or even a regular Sunday. And thanks to Petco, we don’t have to worry about their supplies.

Not only is Petco where the pets go, but they are also where their humans go too. And for us, a big reason why we love this pet store is because they have all of our favorite brands for dogs and cats alike.

During the holidays, things get a bit hectic. And when things get hectic, sometimes things get left behind and forgotten. The last thing we want to do is to forget our dog’s food, our cat’s litter, or any number of other must have products for their comfort.

This is where Petco comes in! In particular, we wanted to know about their holiday hours and luckily for us we received a press email letting us know exactly what we can expect for both Thanksgiving and Black Friday this year.

Will Petco be open on Thanksgiving Day 2023?

According to the press email we received on behalf of Petco, all stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. However, we can always use their website, which is open 24 hours per day 365 (or 366) days per year to order anything we may have forgotten in the holiday rush.

And when it comes to Petco stores for Black Friday, they will not only be open all day, but apparently they will all be open as early as 8 a.m. and then closing at their normal time. However, even in the email we received, they did recommend checking with your local store to confirm their hours on November 24.

While we are not surprised to learn that Petco will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, we do love the fact that we can still get our shopping done on their website whenever we need to. And of course, we have no problem taking advantage of their Black Friday hours as well.
