Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade: Which famous pups are attending?

Everyone has different Thanksgiving traditions and one incredibly popular one is watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Of course, everyone is excited about which balloons there are, which Broadway productions we’ll see performers from, and who will be hosting. If you’re a dog lover, you might be looking for a bit more.

Whether you’re the sole dog lover watching or just want to know which famous pups will be in balloon form and beyond, we’ve got you covered. Thankfully, Macy’s knew what were looking for and decided to share the lineup for 2023.

Regardless if you’re watching for a favorite character or not, we’ve got the scoop on which famous dogs will be part of this year’s festivities.

Which famous pups will be part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 2023?

The biggest part of the parade is easily the balloons and is honestly my favorite part. I love seeing which characters get the balloon treatment and this year, a few famous pups are going to be in ballalon form. First up is Bluey which is one I’ve already talked about before and is one I know a lot of kids will be excited about.

In addition, Beagle Scout Snoopy will be there accompanied by his long-time companion Woodstock and that’s such a fun one. Then there’s also Paw Patrol and while Macy’s didn’t clarify which dog will be there, they did use a picture of Chase so it’s likely he’ll be there as the unofficial leader of the Paw Patrol.

Then for floats, we’ll be seeing “Camp Snoopy” which will likely feature Snoopy in some capacity and honestly, I’m TOO excited for that one. Then there’s the Elf Pets one which is based on the “Elf on The Shelf” trend. Even though those are the only two floats featuring “dogs,” maybe the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will surprise us with more.

Considering how beloved the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is, there’s a lot to watch and be excited about, dog lovers or not.
