Scooby-Doo has long been a part of the pop culture landscape. Over 50 years later, things aren’t looking to change, either.

Given that it’s now Scoobtober, you might be looking to rewatch some favorite episodes or dive into a new series. As dog lovers ourselves, we can’t blame you.

If there’s one thing I love to talk about and watch, it’s Scooby-Doo shows and movies as there are so many to choose from. While it’s best to start with the original series which is Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! You might be curious as to which Scooby series is rated the highest on IMDB.

While there are different ways to measure this, IMDB is easily one of the biggest and most popular sites for shows and movies so I wanted to dive into the top three highly-rated Scooby series.

Which Scooby-Doo series is rated the highest according to IMDB?

If you’re a fan of the Mystery Gang, then this first one won’t come as any surprise but it might be for OG fans. The highest-rated Scooby-Doo series on IMDB is 2010’s Mystery Incorporated. The series felt like a grittier and more grown-up version of the beloved series. This came in with an 8.1 rating on IMDB.

While the series has gained a following of loyal Scooby fans, it probably isn’t the first one that comes to mind when thinking of the character. Thankfully, coming in at #2 on IMBD is the original series: Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! This is a classic and always will be but it didn’t end up making the top spot as it has a 7.9 rating.

The first two on this list were shoo-ins as they’re awesome and widely beloved by the fandom. As for the final spot, it’s a tie between two series that both ended up with a rating of 7.6 which is 1976’s The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour and then 1972’s The New Scooby-Doo Movies.

Honestly, I’m a huge fan of The New Scooby-Doo Movies so I’m excited to see it cut. Of course, everyone has a favorite so I’d love to know what your favorite Scooby-Doo series is or if you have one you’re rewatching during Scoobtober.
