A local dog shelter is taking to social media to share the sweeter side of their lives. There have been many viral videos surfacing the internet of sweet shelter dogs saying goodbye to all of their local shelter employees post-adoption.
There’s got to be no greater feeling than working at a shelter and see dog after dog getting adopted into their furever home!

An animal shelter in the US has taken to TikTok to share a sweet little montage of some of their dogs saying goodbye as they walk out the door to their furever home. Here’s what what of those local employees had to say all about dog adoption:
"“I work at the animal shelter, and this video was some of the dogs stopping by to say goodbye to me as they were leaving for their new homes…It’s always so bittersweet when they leave. We are always so happy for them, but sad knowing we won’t see them everyday…Goodbyes are so bittersweet.”"
Gosh, that couldn’t be more true. Of course they want their dogs to get adopted, but especially for the ones that are there for a while, the employees probably start to get attached to certain pups, they just can’t help it. I know that I could never work with shelter dogs because I just wouldn’t be able to leave them at the end of the day, let alone not be able to take one home.

The totally viral stats on this video have been helping spread adoption awareness as well as spreading the word about their shelter in particular.
