MW2 (Modern Warfare 2) and Warzone 2 are two of the most famous and popular branches of the Call of Duty video game. Recently, a brand new feature was released that is now going to allow users to bring your Tactical Pet Companion into battle with you.
Tactical Pets is such a cool feature, so let’s go over how everything works.
How will this brand new Tactical Pets feature work in MW2 and Warzone 2?
Season 5 is officially out for both MW2 and Warzone 2. With new seasons typically comes new maps, battles, weapons, different in-game events, and tons of other stuff to play around with. The most recent of these new features is the Tactical Pets. It will literally allow you to drop right into battle with your favorite furry companion right by your side.
Can my pet get harmed in any way?
The short answer is no. Don’t worry. Whether it’s by the enemy or an accident by your or your own team, your pets cannot be harmed in any sort of way. No need to worry there!
How do Tactical Pets work in the games?
They really don’t do a whole lot initially besides accompany you out in the heat in the middle of a battle. However, they do have a very specific role that will help you in the long run. They’re called Finishing Moves, and according to Dexterto, here’s how they work:
"“f you’re looking to add insult to injury, your companion can leap forward and bite through a downed enemy to really add salt in the wound with a brutal finisher animation”."
Pretty cool if you ask me – have your pups do your dirty work and really rub it into the enemy! Whenever you’re using this, it will be the same across MW2’s multiplayer, Warzone 2’s Battle Royale, and DMZ. So no matter the game or mode, it should be available for you to use!
Is it easy to equip a pet?
Sure thing! Whether you’re equipping Fido in either of the two games listed here, the instructions are relatively the same.
Just follow these simple steps below, and that’s all that you need to know!
- Open either Warzone 2 or MW2
- Find the Customize Operator tab
- Select the Operator that you wish to use
- Open the Finishing Move tab
- Once opened, go ahead and equip the Bark and Bite Finishing Move
So far, that’s all we know about this brand new Tactical Pets feature, but I’m sure that as Season 5 comes along, more will come out all about it. Who knows? Maybe even more Finishing Moves will be added that way your pup can start to become a tried and true fighter just like you!
What do you think of this brand new feature from the Call of Duty video game franchise? Will you or someone you know be using it? If so, what’s your pup’s name? Enjoy the game.
